Hereās my āEaster Family Photoā from yesterday. Holidays can sometimes look different when your husband is 15 hours away at a fishing tournament, your daughter is with her dad, and your son is away at college.
Berkley and I had THE best day. Even if I did get teary eyed often as we walked through the fairly empty Lewis & Clark Campground. I found myself seeing memories from when my children were young everywhere I looked. The campsites we have had over the years. The time we almost blew away and packed up the tents in the middle of the night, my son jumping waves in the water, my daughter with sand all over herself, making breakfast outside ā¦ I could go on and on. Those memories were difficult for some reason yesterday; knowing that Iāll never have that phase of life back again. Those days were so tiring but so fun. I hope my kids look back at all the fun we had camping and boating with smiles on their face. I sure do. š
Yesterday my @ouraring said I had nearly 12 hours of stress š¬ so spending today outside felt appropriate š„¾ š¾
