CNTCORE BLOG RELEASE: bottom-coded, ketamine femmunism, braver spaces.
On the dancefloor, freedom isn’t abstract - it’s infrastructure: consent with a pulse, boundaries that make the vibe possible, care that moves hand to hand. A no that doesn’t get negotiated. Friends gathered. Space made.
Tonja Wetzel: „Sit on the fist that oppresses you.” Not self-destruction - a tactic. Turning pressure into presence.
And pleasure belongs here: not private, but political. A way to feel where power sits and shift it.
Queer house is room-discipline: not „everyone’s welcome“ but who’s held when it gets tight. Bottoms aren’t less - we choose the terms: what comes in, what stays out, how pleasure becomes power.
CNTCORE is that practice in the bass.
Not just letting us in. Holding us.

DJ handbag × CNTCORE: Sound, Story, Scene.
CUNTCORE Blog is the connective tissue between DJ handbag and event CNTCORE - where the night becomes language.
It’s a space to document what happens on the floor and what fuels it: diva house, queer house, handbag house, UKG/bass pressure and the messy, gorgeous politics of being alive in queer club culture.
it’s for bottoms and anyone who gets that vulnerability can be power – setting the terms, holding boundaries and turning pleasure into language.
Welcome to CNTCORE 💫
A space where queer culture, electronic music and creative energy collide. Here to connect, collaborate or just vibe?
You’re in the right place. Be yourself and join us as we bridge past and present - together. artwork by @a.n.t.o.n.f.a.l.c.k
DJ handbag x @xxwhisperxx at @hoer.berlin (02/05/26) - two whispers, one big bass kiss. lil video recap of a very loud, very cute moment.
Link in wonderlink.
Double trouble this weekend: one sober sparkle moment + one late-night dollhouse moment.
FR @ KitKatClub: GEGEN DOLLHOUSE - glossed up, locked in and ready to play.
SUN @ ÆDEN : traceyZERO #1 a sober experience, big energy, sweet community.
tracey: come for the sober sparkle, stay for the soft chaos and big-hearted dancefloor. No hangover, no pressure, just cute people, clean energy and that „I’m actually present“ kind of euphoria.
I’m playing a set that’s all bounce + bliss (queer house with a little cheek) and I’d love to see you there early - arrive fresh, flirt responsibly, dance like you mean it. Let’s make sobriety feel like a flex.
Come say hi, bring your bestie, and catch me on the decks - weekend plans = sorted.
a doll needs to do, what a doll needs to do.
WHISPER @ 19:00 CET - I’m pulling up to HÖR with queer house and enough bass to make your group chat start apologizing.
Tune in → www.hoer.live
Bring a drink, bring an attitude, bring a fan (for the dramatics) - u can watch me.
May’s not asking for a glow-up. It’s asking for spring logistics.
Not the tidy „fresh start“ narrative. More like: thawing out in public, learning your own pace again, letting desire come back online without turning it into a performance. Spring can be tender and feral at the same time - more bodies outside, more invitations, more „you up?“ texts, more risk. And if chem sex is in the air (or in the DMs), harm reduction isn’t a moral stance - it’s a love language. Especially in queer dating: clarity, consent, pacing, aftercare and the right to say „not tonight“ without explaining your trauma.
Here’s what spring can look like this month:
- checking in with your body before you check in with the group chat
- naming what you want and what you’re not doing (tonight / this week / with this person)
- eating something real before the night becomes a concept
- water between drinks, air between rooms, breaks between hits
- testing, lube, condoms, gloves - whatever „safer“ means for your setup
- buddy system: someone who knows where you are and what you’re on
- consent that stays consent when the lights get low (and the dopamine gets loud)
- leaving early without apologizing, leaving late without disappearing
- choosing softness on purpose: aftercare, sleep, a message that lands like a hand on your shoulder

CNTCORE is coming to Paloma — 26/04, 2-12pm
A night for loud hearts, dirty basslines and diva energy. Swipe the carousel to meet the lineup + get a little taste of what each one brings to the booth.
@handbag_dj
Berlin-based, trans-femme selector serving diva house, queer house + handbag heat. Expect big vocals, cheeky edits and bass that hugs you back.
@nickymiller0 x @electrosexual_ (Live)
A high-voltage link-up: sleek electro, punky club pressure and the kind of groove that turns the room into a machine (in the best way).
@dj.egoshooter10000
Fast, sharp and shameless. Club tools, hard swings and left-turn transitions designed to keep you a little off-balance and fully locked in.
@ketia4ever
Warm, percussive, and hypnotic. Deep cuts + bright peaks, with a feel for tension that makes the dancefloor breathe together.
@adri_alibi
Playful and precise: bouncy rhythms, bold hooks and a taste for the dramatic. Come for the groove, stay for the surprise.
Paloma • 26/04 • 2-12pm
Bring a friend. Bring a look. Bring your whole self.
CNTCORE FAMILY - next event is a full-on love letter to the queer community: fundraising, safer vibes and showing up for each other.
First, in @amphia__ words:
„I’m so excited to share that CNTCORE family will help me to raise funds for my tracheal shave surgery at their next event.
As a trans non-binary artist, this is a huge step toward feeling like myself in my own skin, but it’s a journey I can’t fund alone. Being able to do this with a community I love means the world to me. If you’re coming their next event, there’ll be ways to chip in, and if you can’t make it, even just sharing or donating to my GoFundMe helps more than you know.
Thank you for all the love and for having my back.“
We’re also running our Queer Taxi Fund (because getting home safe is the point). Braver Spaces is part of the night too - not as a buzzword, as a practice: clearer boundaries, more care, less entitlement. Check in before you touch, respect a „no” the first time, look out for each other and if something feels off, say something. If you need support, we’ll have people you can go to.
And yes, there’ll be a CUNTCORE cocktail at the bar - just for fun, just for the vibe. If you’re coming: there’ll be an easy way to contribute on the night. If you can’t: share + donate to Amphia’s GoFundMe (link in bio / stories).

New essay up on the CNTCORE blog: “In the Age of the Screenshot.”
It’s a club-floor reflection on controlling images, authenticity-as-performance and what happens when „bottom-coded / trans clocked“ stops being a trap and becomes a tactic - a way of moving through the scan with softness without surrender and a gaze that reads the room back.
If you’ve ever felt the spotlight clock you: this one’s for you.
Read it on the CC blog.
