Cristina Goberna and Urtzi Grau use Replicas both literal copies of existing works of architecture and responses to previous statements to re-imagine architectural production, architectural pedagogy, the legal status of architecture and the role architects play in the city. In an agonistic presentation, they lay out the potential transformation of architecture, a field that has resisted embracing replicas, and in so doing, has hindered its potential.
