During this season of Thanksgiving I wanted to take the moment to recap the opening of my latest/current gallery exhibit, "Conversations With Time" at Cambridge Arts
@cambridgearts
I wouldn't say that this was my most ambitious show by any means, but it was indeed my most extensive and most expansive show spanning not just my paintings but also mural work and installation elements. THIS has been the show I've been wanting to have since my first exhibit back in 2019 when my nemesis
@djsinista1 called me out on Twitter to have an art exhibition showdown... So even though I've had over 10 showcases at this point, this is starting the counter back at 1.
Thank you to everyone who supported me, who showed up for the opening, or who lurk online and silently cheer for me from behind a screen 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 and a few special mentions below:
- To
@cambridgearts again for the opportunity to transform the space and have my vision and dream be brought to life.
- To the one and only
@mada.silva.here for not only providing the lovely live music accompaniment for the poetry segment of the show, but for creating one of my now most cherished pieces of music inspired by my graphic novel
- To all the poets who got a chance to perform
@notebook.p @masoneve @sepforoutanart @tonibeewrites @mcmischief.studio @connflique and to others who signed up but weren't able to make it
- To the amazing
@jayvisionaryy_ who captured the evening through magical lenses (photos in this post courtesy of her), as well as my other photography and videography friends who selflessly volunteer their services... You are all greatly appreciated (and you make it extremely hard for me to choose what photos to post and share lol
That's it for now, but this is definitely not the last Time you'll be hearing from me about this show before the closing in January so stay tuned!
