Sunday’s XCO race brought some well needed sunlight to the Les Gets race venue. Like always, the fans and races delivered the spectacle we are used to from Les Gets, hard climbs, technical descents and loud cheering.
With a third place finish for @sammie.maxwell.mtb and a 6th place for @saviliablunk the @decathlon_ford_racing_team riders had an incredible day on the course, Sammie is now leading the overall world cup standings by over 400 points with only three rounds of racing left.
@list.david and @joshuadubau also rode a strong race in a stacked field, they secured a 23 and 27th place giving them a good feeling for the upcoming block of racing.

The first day of racing is in the books, and what a day it has been. @sammie.maxwell.mtb secured a third place after a very strong race, and @saviliablunk managed to finish in 7th place, getting the @decathlon_ford_racing_team two riders on the front row for Sunday’s XCO race.
@joshuadubau and @list.david rode a strong race in a packed field, finishing 20th and 22nd, respectively. Both of them showed they're ready and excited to be back racing.
With heavy rain coming down now, we look forward to seeing what the conditions will be like for Sunday’s main XCO event.
