What a way to kick off the world cup season! A result I’ve been working towards for a long time — finishing 4th in the first XCC feels really rewarding after all the work over the past months.

Absolute carnage out there today! 😅
I’ve never had to run this much in a race before, I think😵
Got off to a strong start and was riding in the group fighting for a top 10 until the mud caused some issues with my drivetrain. Ended up finishing 23rd.
Still, I really enjoyed starting from the front row and I’m taking those good sensations with me.
Heading home tomorrow — next stop: Nove Mesto for the next World Cup.
