Harold's 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐜𝐤 launches cult favourite 𝑻𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒍𝒆's new EP at Misc tonight, with a party of punky and feral technoid dance music including the return of the legendary 𝑪𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 and naarm debut of Toronto's 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒄𝒂𝒎 (𝒇𝒌𝒂 𝑬-𝑺𝒂𝒈𝒈𝒊𝒍𝒂).
𝑶𝒓𝒃 kicking things off on the roof from 6pm, with $𝟖 𝐌𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 $𝟏𝟐 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 until 9. Slow-burn maestro 𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒔 opening the club room from 9pm.
𝑻𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒍𝒆 plays live to launch his EP after his sickeningly good set at the last Absorbed (peep the video), producing angular and syncopated drummy cuts that sound like they've been hacked out of a boulder with a crowbar. 𝑪𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 blow the room apart.
𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒄𝒂𝒎 (𝒇𝒌𝒂 𝑬-𝑺𝒂𝒈𝒈𝒊𝒍𝒂) brings her incredible control of texture, noise, abrasion, and jagged rhythm to Misc; backed up by her stellar resume with production released on Northern Electronics, Opal Tapes and PAN amongst others.
Rooftop free from 6pm, club open from 9pm with tickets on the door.---
