Phonix, started by @lawrencerandom and held at @queseralb was a night were we could just get together, rinse our sound, and enjoy some stiff drinks poured by Lou “Lou Baby” and BENZ.
It was one of the first nights in Long Beach to push drum & bass circa ‘99.
It was home away from home and so many memories were created.
One of the coolest memories was the night when Christina (Rest In Power) and @jefftovar_aka_phear walked in and new friendships were forged.
Two other notable nights that were holding it down in Los Angeles at that time were the OG Konkrete Jungle LA hosted by Hive @darkartmastering and @daddykev and the still running @respectdnb hosted by @junglistplatoon .
