Crazy about Friday and the fact that we’re one week away from release ♥️ What’s everyone wearing to see the film?

The Devil Wears Prada, Breezy Wears @fashionnova ! 👠 👠 👠 👠 I can’t speak for all but I bet if you ask any woman who works in media / adjacent careers, The Devil Wears Prada was likely an inspiration. How cool is it that I can say I worked on the campaign for the sequel?! Love a full circle moment and especially love getting all dressed up!

I say Ya’ll. I rode on my first horse when I was 7 or 8 years old in the Georgia country (from what I can recall). I rode ATVs in fields with horses in college and I’ve owned three pairs of cowboy boots in my short life on this earth. And I listened to country music before Beyoncé’s album. Ask me about Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum, used to sing my heart out 🤣 Yet, I knew very little about the history of Black cowboys and cowgirls. HIGH HORSE: THE BLACK COWBOY was educational and entertaining. It was infuriating and inspirational. Everyone should watch it at least once. I’ve seen it 3 times 😉 Loved supporting Peacock with the rollout of this three-part documentary and culminating with this celebration at the Black Excellence Brunch. Side note - if you know my sister, you know she has really immersed herself in “cowboyism” and this equestrian lifestyle. So the fact that this documentary helped me understand that a little better too was very cool @oddestyk 🤠

Here’s the truth: my journey into marketing and PR for film and television hasn’t followed a traditional path—and that’s exactly my strength. I’ve built my success by knowing how to cut through the noise, not just follow it. I align with brands that are daring and don’t shy away from intentional investment in communities that are the heartbeat to their success. I’ve never been interested in work that isn’t driven by purpose, impact, and a relentless pursuit of meaningful connections. No fluff. No filler. Just results. Cheers to this moment and this fun headshot captured at @blackwomenmarketers #MKTRHUB this past weekend — the curls are popping & the puff is puffing + green means I look & smell like money 😂😂. I’ve come a long way from the boss who once told me not to wear colors and that my hair should be fried and laid to the side. Look at me now, girl 👀

Started the day off at the #BlackWomenInFilmSummit 🎬 Swipe to hear my favorite anecdotes and words of wisdom, and take what you need because much of what I heard can be applied in many areas of life — definitely not just careers in Entertainment. 🫶🏽

Meant to post this on my half birthday but whoops 🙃 The first half of the year has been BUSY and BLACK. I worked my first LA premiere and got to unleash the dogg in me 😂. I oversaw the multicultural campaign for a new animated series that stemmed from an unprecedented partnership between Nigerian filmmakers and Disney. I coordinated the carpet for the BMF season 3 premiere and had the lovely opportunity to coordinate and accompany DeWanda Wise during an ATL press day. Speaking of Atlanta, so much fun was had there over the past 6 months and even more fun in DC — just dancing my little heart out from city to city. This is just a short list. The next 6 months will bring new opportunities and more of my heart’s desires. Claiming it now 🙏🏽.
