Got to go to @toonfusionor today for the day! So nice to have such a cozy convention in town. Ran around as Spiderman with my partner as Shego for a few hours. Enjoyed artists alley, watched a workshop from @_kollapsar_ and @katebecker.art , saw a panel with some of the cast of My Hero Academia (which I adore), and got@to meet @kirkthorntonvo and @justin.briner , two wonderful voice actors, whose work I love. It was a great and lowkey day with lits of cosplay interactions that always make my day. If you ever see me, I LOVE interacting with people and getting photos and such. Just say hi and get my attention and permission because I don’t always hear well! I got to run my first Dungeons & Dragons event at @haustierevents Paws & Claws Ball this year and it was genuinely an amazing experience and my first time out of the US and in Canada. I was given the opportunity to have a photoshoot with @snell.creatives and she did such amazing job working with me at the @haciendasereda venue to capture stunning photographs! I am so grateful for the entire experience of that weekend and the new friends and colleagues that I had the chance to meet. A Seat at the Platinum Masquerade - Dragons and Rings D&D event The Story: We’ve been invited to the rare and prestigious Platinum Masquerade Ball, held once every 20 years in honor of Bahamut and hosted by powerful metallic dragons. Only the most accomplished individuals across the realms receive an invitation—but while the event promises grandeur and celebration, something feels… off. Beneath the elegance, a challenge awaits those ready to navigate the pressure behind the masks. My Experience: An incredible opportunity. As a D&D fan playing weekly with the same group for over 3 years, it was an unforgettable chance to be at Rain’s table with such a great group of players. We found a perfect balance between roleplay, combat, and detective work—and of course, the classic “splitting the party” moment led straight into chaos. Rain is an amazing DM, making sure both the players and himself are having a great time. We were all in contact 1 week before the event to go over Rain’s Safety tool to define everyone personal boundaries. I really appreciated this initiative. We introduced our characters prior and Rain was really available if we had any questions. Recieved an spectacular package the day before I left for the @haustierevents Paws & Claws Ball. I commissioned the infinitely talented Thomas of @tusanotradingco to build a custom DM screen to use for @tabletimeproductions in-person games and events. He did not disappoint. He had the artist Xel do the designs based on one she had already been working on and customized it, including our logos and bringing in some specific Dice & Destiny flavor. It was done so master. The actual woodwork and integration of metals and magnets with the gorging filagree is I matched, though. The stain work done like a nebula or galaxy, almost. All the accessories and use of the screen are also unmatched compared to anything I have used in my games before. Its debut at the Ball for the D&D games was well worth the wait for this work of art.
