“A Surrealistic Infinity” An installation by TABLEAU for Hermès. Stockholm, November 2023 - January 2024 For this winter season, Hermès invited TABLEAU to create an installation for the unique corner-window at Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm. TABLEAU has created a scenery, where the beautiful objects from Hermès, acts as participants at an everlasting dinner. The Salvador Dalí inspired surreal furniture has been flocked in recycled acrylic fibres to give the space a monochromatic and warm feeling. Infinity mirrors are placed in the scenario so that the viewer looks into a dreamlike universe where the products are interacting in a joyful manner. The creative team at TABLEAU wanted to captivate the unique and warm moment at a holiday dinner that we all want to last for ever. That split second of absolute joy. The intention was to create a tableau of feelings for the visitor. A QR code on the window brings the audience to a audio performance with a warm greeting from our team. TABLEAU thrives to produce unique set design, floral design, and interior designs with meaningful narratives behind the work. Our team aims to explore the relationship between art and its effects as well as break down the boundaries between all creative industries through storytelling. Window installation for @hermes

The FLOWER MARKET carpet collection. The carpet collection designed by TABLEAU for @nordicknots is inspired by the childhood memories of our creative director @julius_v_iversen Julius used to go to work with his father at Copenhagen Markets to collect flowers for his father’s flower stores and he wanted to give a tribute to this magnificent place. The handwoven carpets are designed with elements from flower installations created by our studio with flowers that comes from the same Market. Find them online at the webshop of Nordic Knots.

Atrium Installation created by TABLEAU in Stockholm. TABLEAU was commissioned by the spatial design and architecture company, Studio Stockholm, and the investment company, Scius, to design three permanent plant installations in the newly refurbished multi use building 'Batteriet' in the neighborhood Mariatorget in Stockholm. The three atriums TABLEAU were asked to do were all going to be used for a different purpose: a terrarium-like indoor garden within the lounging area, an orchid cloud adjacent to the conference room and a hanging rhipsalis installation in the gaming lounge. The plants are intertwined with custom and hand made stainless steel rebars, creating a steel forest. It is a TABLEAU staple to use rough, industrial materials with delicate plants and natural elements like soil or stones. The installations complement and interact in very unique ways with the interior designed by Studio Stockholm. Cups are everyday objects that have existed as crafted drinking vessels since the Neolithic Stone Age. Their function and versatility make them endlessly open to interpretation. Whether resembling something you can drink from or challenging our perception entirely, cups appear across cultures, centuries, shapes, and materials as both functional objects and artistic expressions. For CUPS - an exhibition and sales project initiated by Tableau, co-curated by Liv Vaisberg, and developed in collaboration with Sovino Group for 3daysofdesign - we are inviting artists and creatives to interpret the cup through their own perspective. Centered around the intimate and universally shared ritual of having coffee in a café, the project explores the poetic, sculptural, symbolic, and social dimensions of the cup. OPEN CALL

Mother’s day is very special to us - and this year it’s the 10th of May. It’s a reminder of showing appreciation, love and thankfullness towards that person who always supports and guide you. That one person who loves you unconditionally no matter your state of mind - Your mother. There are many ways of showing it - whether it’s for your own mother, someone who’s about to become one or that special person in your life that reminds you of the love of a mother. Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to remind them how much they mean to you. A little something special - chocolate, their favourite treat, a handwritten note, or flowers - goes a long way.

INTRODUCING NEW WORKS IN STORE AND ONLINE: FANGO CERAMICS!! @fango_ceramics Fango Ceramics is the practice of Jacopo, a ceramic artist whose work is rooted in experimentation and a direct relationship with natural materials. He personally collects and tests clays, selecting them for their strength, workability, and unique visual qualities. Each piece is wheel-thrown and shaped through an intuitive process, where every gesture leaves a lasting trace. Glazed with custom mixtures and fired at high temperatures in wood, gas, or soda kilns, the works develop rich, unrepeatable surfaces. Visit our store on Store Strandstræde to experience the full FANGO CERAMICS collection in person, or explore it online on our website.
