there was a radio show about me this weekend — eeeeeh whaaat?
it feels so surreal that they dedicated a 40-minute show to me and my music…but of course, the music wasn‘t just mine, but also many great projects with friends that have been released recently.

'Fragments' consists of eight songs that have been written in quiet hours over the last few years. Above all, they document my time in Basel, which is slowly coming to an end. I've met wonderful people, musicians and friends here. Among them my trio partners Catherine Tang @catee.tang and Lucas Zibulski @lucishaker . You made the music what it is! ❤️

Myrien Barth from Bonny Orbit @bonny.orbit was there one afternoon and captured wonderful memories with her camera! 🎥 ✨
I also really wanted to have a CD of the music in my hands. With Cora Lisbach @coralizart I met a great artist from Cologne who complements the music wonderfully with her art! 💕

the other day, I was sitting on the train on my way to a concert when I got a call from an unknown number. I was expecting it to be for a gig, a contractor, or a neighbor. But I never expected to be asked if I’d like to accept the 2026 Baden-Württemberg Jazz Prize.
lesson learned: grow up and answer even or especially if the number is unknown. I’m incredibly excited. What an honor.
On that occasion I’ll be playing a prize-winner’s concert at @tollhauskarlsruhe in Karlsruhe on November 25, 2026 together with @lucasleidinger and @lucishaker .
