a fare to faire an affair at The Fair
To those who see by day && dark,
grant eyes toward this procession’s heart:
for the gilded green that passes through,
with polished hands their patron do,
who calleth culture, yet extraction ’tis—
..the uninvited know well the rule
Lead us not to worship glow,
nor praise the ones who come and go;
but grant us sight enough to tell
when heaven looks too much like hell.
For every paradise keeps a list,
&& every prayer has been priced for this.
Some kneel for god, some kneel for grace—
most only hope to keep their place.

**today marks a new role: PROFESSOR 👩🏫 this semester I’ll be guiding Graduates through 3D modeling & animation in @smudallas CREATIVE COMPUTATION program, && teaching undergraduates VIRTUAL PRODUCTION in @unt MEDIA ARTS department — working with students at the collision of technology, culture, and the realities we simulate into being 🕹️🌐
grateful to bring teaching into my practice — shaping spaces and perspectives where art, technologies, and reality glitch together 🧠✨
we’ve been life’n a lot lately - and want to share that we’re expecting a lil baby girl in May! 🐣🐣🐣
this season of life is so beautiful - thank you for being a part of it
