Launceston Hospital (Wombat Ward)
We recently installed artwork in the treatment room to assist children and nurses in some distraction therapy. They can count the butterflies or dragon flies whilst the nurses and doctors tend to their needs. The artwork is based on the existing artwork in the ward completed in 2020. We had the opportunity to take a few more photos of the existing artworks. Thank you to the staff for commissioning T3D Studios to expand the artwork. I hear it’s already helping, a nice surprise for the kids.

T3D and Flux Studio Space ran a great workshop with the Staff from the Emergency Department at the Royal Hobart Hospital yesterday. We worked through our creative process supporting staff to experience the flow and unpredictability of water colours as colourfields. The staff also participated in a line drawing workshop, a meditative process led by Julie Stoneman. Everyone was delighted with their experience and found some relaxation through play. Thanks you to the ED department for hosting us and to JAWS Architects.
