Fell in love in the Arctic, with 170 friends, where time stood still, where we were all cracked open, over 10 days and as many lifetimes, all moved beyond words — this final curtain call for Wow It’s Now, the most moving yet, thank you for this experiment in culture making, environmental education, fundraising, deep nature exploration, an art project to inspire, thank you for the trust these past 2 years, from each end of this earth, Antarctica to the Arctic, I am, we are, forever changed.
Leaders of the Sámi tribe indigenous to this region hosted us, after a first meeting in Brooklyn, on the heels of a visit to the UN,
@beaskaniillas made this possible with his welcome, and the welcome of
@saramariellegaup and
@elisaborealis — thank you.
lynnetwist and
@sara.vetter ,
@manariushigua and
@belenkeuneka came to represent the Amazon, collectively representing 100+ years of work in service of the Amazon with
@pachamamaorg , and together hosted our biggest fundraiser yet for Pachamama,
@belongcenter , and the Sámi Council.
Work we love, work for love. They have showed me the meaning of service, thank you.
So grateful for this team, 20+ of us onboard to see this through as gracefully as possible.
Thank you, thank you 💚
