Total Accord Fest is back June 3rd through 20th at venues throughout San Francisco, with artists like Brijean and The Seshen plus a stacked local lineup. We’re breaking down all 13 shows and why they matter.
On Friday, June 5th, Total Accord links with BFF.FM for a happy hour show on the patio at El Rio for a sharp left turn into something darker and more kinetic, with System Exclusive and Sara Said So, plus food from Pizza On The Fly.
System Exclusive sits right at the intersection of machine and emotion. Cold synth lines, live drums that hit a little harder than you expect, and vocals that cut through with real vulnerability. They’ve been living on the road, literally, chasing that feeling from room to room, and it shows in how locked-in and immediate their set feels.
Sara Said So brings a more rock band vibe, but keeps that intensity. Melodic indie rock with weight behind it, pulling from 90s textures and building into something full and immersive without losing the hook.
It’s one of those pairings that makes sense once you’re in it. Different approaches, same emotional charge, all at a venue that knows how to hold it.
If you want a show that leans a little louder, a little darker, and still hits you right in the chest, this is the perfect show for you.

🌈 @totalaccordagency and @bffdotfm present: Happy Hour Backyard Show with performances from @system.exclusive and @sarasaidso.sf ! ⭐️
Join us for this special patio show as part of Total Accord Fest, with a food pop up by Pizza on the Fly! 🍕
System Exclusive are Ari B and Matt Jones – a SF based, Pasadena, CA originated duo, balancing the hard edged electronic pulse of old school synthwerks against hot-under-the-collar live drums and slashing post-punk guitar. Ari’s melismatic alto completes the triangle, crowning the cyborg-rock compositions with a torn and vulnerable human edge. Faced with the near-impossible task of making a living in California while working as touring musicians, they put their life in storage, put a bed in the van, and have been living wherever the shows take them. On a mission to make strangers misty in the disco throughout the US, UK, and Europe…and wherever else fine records are sold.
Sara Said So is an indie rock band based in San Francisco, CA. Pulling influence from 90’s indie rock, classic shoegaze, and midwest emo, the group’s songwriting has a melodic focus with a powerful backing. The band consists of Elise Benton (Vocals), Elizabeth Bailey (Guitar and Vocals), Holden Hunt (Guitar and Vocals), Owen Akiyama (Bass), and Lila Richardson (Drums).

new LP is complete so now we'll celebrate & play one more gig in the meantime... nothing else on the books for a long while after this one!

I know we've been a bit quiet of late...we've been getting back into the swing of civilian life for one thing and working frantically in the lab cooking up a fresh batch of boppers for another....but hark! due west a show is peeking above the horizon line!
This is an easy one - it's FREE - it's in the Mission at @kilowatt_bar_sf - we'll be joined by local lovelies @strawberrypanic10000 and @riproom - and it starts at 7 PM, so you can get enough sleep to head back to the mines on the morrow. Wednesday April 22nd, brought to you by the fine folk at @totalaccordagency
