One of our why's: we are bridge builders
RethinkRx: Charting a New Course was a progressive gathering in Baltimore City, focused on harm reduction strategies to transform the discussion around substance use to build a safer, more compassionate future.
This was our first Share N Tell Expo, which is a new series designed to foster a space for goal-oriented open communication, collaboration, and inspiration.
Last night at @baltimorefreeschool in @redemmas , we had an open forum discussion with @charmcitycareconnection@bmorepower@loveinthetrenches@bmorepsychedelic and attendees about ways in which we could contribute to and support the development of effective harm reduction strategies in the city.
Attendees were trained on how to administer Naloxone (Narcan). We ended the night sharing our petition for more state-supported harm reduction initiatives in Baltimore City.
The main themes of the night was meeting people where they are at without judgment and coming together as a collective to push the harm reduction movement forward.
We look forward to continuing these types of events in hopes that we can affect positive change in the communities we love to serve.
