Introducing Count Clap Tap™️, a rhythm training method for all musicians to learn to read and perform rhythms while establishing the practice of counting aloud and tapping a foot to maintain time.  Count Clap Tap is available as a rhythmic sequence library (rhythm pack) with nearly 400 exercise within the SYNKD app for iOS. The pack is accompanied by a digital book that encompasses all aspects of the method. Every exercise has a corresponding rhythmic sequence within the SYNKD rhythm pack. Looking for a simple pad warmup to get the blood flowing and the mind focused? Try eighth notes to eighth note triple to sixteenth notes and back playing in unison with SYNKD to ensure rhythmic accuracy. Start out slow for a few reps and then up the tempo. A double paradiddle at the end of each rep will shift the sticking from right to left-hand lead. #GetSYNKD 📲🔥 #SYNKD #metronome #musiceducation #metronomeapp #musicapp #drumteacher #drumlesson #drumpad #percussion #percussionist

Here’s a fun way to practice the table of time using an ABAA BABB structure. You can also think of the sequence as giant paradiddles. Happy practicing. #drummer #musician #drums #musiceducation #practice

Here’s an example of gaining control of a simple subdivision transition. In this video I am counting triplets while clapping an exercise that is based around quarter notes and triplets. My feet are tapping the underlying quarter note. I am using the @countclaptap rhythm method for this in conjunction with @synkd_app #musicians #musiceducation #musiceducator #drummer #rhythm #practice #practicemakesperfect #musicpractice #drumeducation

Internalizing every aspect of this rhythm. I’’m counting the sixteenth note subdivision, tapping the quarter note to maintain time, and clapping the written rhythm in unison with @synkd_app for this @countclaptap exercise built around transitioning between upbeat eighth notes and sixteenth notes. You can download the new Count Clap Tap rhythm pack and educational e-Book within the SYNKD app. #countclaptap #synkd #musiceducation #rhythmtraining #readingmusic #musicteacher #musiclessons

Can you maintain the accent pattern when the subdivision drops out? This exercise is a fun (and challenging!) one to practice along with SYNKD. The first half is in unison and then the training wheels come off for the second have and you have to maintain the subdivision while aligning the accents with the SYNKD sequence.

The exercises are getting more and more challenging! This particular exercise features alternating 4/4 and 15/16 measures with paradiddles and hertas. Each measure has and additional herta and then they’re removed one at a time. But don’t get tripped up by that missing 16th note every other measure- those 15/16 measures are a doozy!
