📣📣It’s officially the new spring semester Classes are starting again👨‍🏫You’re packing your bags 🧳like you never left ⬅️You throw on another layer🧥and zip 🆙 your puffer. It’s freezing in NYC, even a snow storm is coming to really set the mood ❄️☃️ But don’t worry✋✋the choreographers for our Spring Auditions are about to warm things up🔥real quick 🫨 . ݁₊ ⊹.ೃ࿔*:･ Originally from #HongKong, Babi is a senior Vocal Performance major at NYU Steinhardt and joined the Synchro fam in Season 13.5. Her dance journey began at age 3 when she was convinced she’d become a ballerina (spoiler alert: she didn’t). After moving to NYC to pursue Musical Theatre, Babi discovered a vast world of street/choreography styles and an inspiring community within Synchronic and across New York’s dance scene. She can’t wait to welcome both new and familiar faces at auditions this Saturday! Raised in New York City, Jiaxuan became drawn to dance as a bridge between community and the city that shapes it. Despite living at the library due to her STEM courses, her favorite past times are usually spent in front of a studio mirror. Still a theatre kid at heart, she started with jazz and contemporary before stepping into the competitive dance world in high school, choreographing for her team, Project Spark. Upon joining Season 13.0, Jiaxuan is beyond thankful for the sense of belongingness that Synchro has cultivated. She looks forward to bringing the energy on the floor as she welcomes a new chapter of Synchro! Lester is a junior at NYU majoring in Media, Culture, and Communication. Born and raised in Guangdong, China, he began training in Breaking at a young age and first stepped into choreographing in high school. Since moving to New York, he’s been grateful to be part of the city’s vibrant dance community and to grow alongside Synchronic since Season 12.0. Through Synchronic, he’s found a place that fuels his love for dance, one that feels like home.
