From the millwork shop to the center of the kitchen.
This custom white oak island is officially installed, bringing together detailed craftsmanship and practical function in one statement piece. Hidden seating, integrated storage, roll-outs for appliances, and concealed power were all carefully built into the design.
And the detail we can’t stop looking at: pierced acanthus scroll moulding in white oak, adding richness and dimension that makes the entire piece feel custom in the truest sense.
Looking forward to turning this home back over just in time for summer gatherings.

Not every standout detail in a home has to demand attention. Some quietly change the way a space is lived in every day.
This custom curved banquette was designed to make better use of the space without sacrificing comfort, circulation, or beauty. In collaboration with @rrinteriors , our millwork team crafted the piece in-house from rift-sawn white oak veneer using a single continuous 14-foot leaf to create a seamless, uninterrupted face that highlights the natural grain throughout.
A quiet statement piece designed for everyday life—morning coffee, weeknight dinners, and everything in between.

Handcrafted timber framing, a custom stone chimney, and a foundation built to feel like it’s always belonged here. Right now, our crew is focused on the details that bring character to a project like this: veneering the chimney and foundation walls, finishing the chimney block work and flue, and preparing for the final slate and copper flashing installation.

Somewhere between rough framing and the final reveal is this stage—the one where every detail starts working together.
Engineered white oak flooring is underway, exterior lighting and plugs are installed throughout the addition, and the IPE deck and cable railing are beginning to frame out the outdoor living experience. Inside, custom trim work is being carefully adjusted around lighting and speaker layouts, while the second-floor baths come to life with Wellfleet Cerulean tile and classic penny rounds.
The kind of progress that doesn’t always make the highlight reel—but quietly sets the tone for everything to come.

Moments like a curved white oak banquette, a reimagined marble fireplace wrapped in mahogany, and a bedroom suite crafted with white oak and black walnut tambour accents.
