Disasterpeace and I recorded the early demos in his attic back in 2022. It always felt special to me, but I never got the sound quite right back then.
I revisited the song as a band with @defunckt and @ericlmoen and couldn’t believe how much they brought to it. We played our first show at Ashbary’s and it completely changed the way I want to approach music going forward.
I spent the next few months recording a produced version with @jg.shadid at @gentle.bear.studio . I could not have asked for a better producer. It’s been so wonderful working with you.
My friends @dannypatt_ , @swardloop , and @mcbrides.chi mixed and mastered everything and we finally reached the sound I dreamed of for this song years ago.
I’m incredibly thankful for all of them.
This is the start of a lot of new music. Super excited for everyone to hear it :)
