What started as research for pleasure, has grown into years of documentation, interviews, late nights, remarkable conversations, traveling cross country, and trips down memory lane that shape our hearts, and empower future generations.
We hope this documentary brings other African American families to know where they come from, how the elders that brought them here worked so hard, and how we are descendants of incredible people who’s stories have purposefully been buried. We are the ones to make sure they are never forgotten.
We are here to spread the light.
A year ago I directed a shoot for @thehouseofathlete at their home base in South Florida and that work ended up being featured in @timessquarenyc
This was such a pivotal step for my career as a #director and #cinematographer and I’m continuously thankful for the trust that others have in me to produce quality content for their #businesses and #brands.
