@whiteymcconnaughy blew me away when he wanted to film the @nucleardudes music video all on his 1981 Sony Vacuum Tube Camera. All FX were done live-IN CAMERA, lighting adjustments also made on the fly by @gipperpl . We reacted to the performances and let the camera do what it does. The rest is history and a very rewarding experience. Enjoy.
Some BTS for Barry Manilow. Had the great pleasure of working with Michael Svitak @svitak uber talented DOP on this job. Mike is a dream to work with, we had real fun making this. Mike’s done some great stuff most notably shooting a couple of episodes of the superb drama ‘The Staircase’ starring Colin Firth & Toni Collette.
