YOUR COACH 🫔 I’m Nelson and I am your coach here at Sustained Summit If your new here, here is a little bit about myself and why I started coaching ā¬‡ļø So as of writing this post I’ve been coaching for 3 years now (however I have been involved in fitness for 11 years having started training in the gym from the age of 14) When I very first started training it was always to be a better athlete on the football pitch (as this was my thing back then) As a footballer, was never the most talented or technically gifted player but was a good athlete plus had a good understanding of the game Without boring you too much about playing, highest point I reached was being out on trial for a team called Fuenlabrada in Spain (which never worked out unfortunately) Shortly after this I’d lost my passion for playing football and found myself working dead end jobs so I was at a point where I was either going to pursue a career in fitness or go down the football coaching route I chose fitness (as I was sick of the sight of a football at this time) Over the past 3 years coaching I haven’t really looked back and have definitely found what I am passionate about Teaching people how to build strong and healthy bodies that last long term as in my opinion, to live the best life you can live, you must take care of your body - this is where it all starts And that is how I came up with the idea of Sustained Summit - teaching you how to build a strong and healthy body, that lasts long termšŸ“ˆ I am looking forward to helping you create a strong and healthy body at some point in the future, whether it’s through the content I post on here or even as a client in the future šŸ¤

A week today we do it all again… So we’ve reached the end of the 2026 marathon prep and to be honest the last few weeks have been a nightmare with this Achilles as I haven’t really been able to run at all (massive shoutout to @optimal__performance for the support through the whole race prep šŸ‘ŠšŸ») I was originally aiming to run between 3:30 and 3:45 but after this knock I’ve been carrying I am not even fussed about targets now - if anything, this injury has taken the pressure off a bit So I am at a point now where I am just going to go out there and enjoy the day as it should be a boss one overall And most importantly for me we’ve hit the donation target for @musculardystrophyuk which is a charity that is very close to home for me (thank you to everyone that has donated šŸ‘ŠšŸ»ā¤ļø) Roll on Sunday…

Few snaps of @olivia_ada99 training who has been absolutely flying at the moment When we first started working together back in Jan the goal was to gain muscle and so far we are about 2kg up and numbers are flying in the gym as you can see Olivia had to take the full month of March off due to a health issue but since coming back into the gym she has got right back on track and picked up where we left off Olivia is a prime example of that even if you get thrown of track, you don’t need to let it de-rail you completely. Play the cards you have been dealt, focus on what you can control and the result will take care of itself - looking forward to seeing where we can take this result in the next few months šŸ“ˆ All coaching enquires drop me a message šŸ¤

Feeling stuck with a one size fits all approach?
