We spoke to @chefbrubs , the Resort Executive Chef of @omnilacosta , and witness the Delish test kitchen get transformed with surfing lessons from @surfsetnyc , a paint and sip station, and bouquet bar featuring all the colors of Carlsbad. It was nice to get out of a chilly mid-town Manhattan day to get a taste of a sleepy beach town over on the west coast, it’s all good in Carlsbad!

Our surfboards are on top of 3 balance balls, so stability training is at the core of all of our workouts. Why is it important?
Working out with instability helps:
🏄🏽♀️ Build your core strength in the most effective way possible. You are forced to constantly engage your core to stabilize on our surfboards.
🏄🏽♂️ Improve your balance to help you react to changes in your environment. This helps with surfing, but it’s also so important in your everyday life (like riding the subway!)
🏄 Prevent injuries. Strengthening your stabilizer muscles around your joints helps protect against injuries. We give low impact options in every class too!
