It's been 1 year since the release of the album I'm probably most proud of, Saw the Landmark Missed the Turn (April 16, 2025). We made one for the ages @john_bachman_ aka Jumbled. Thank you to everyone who laughed, cried, screamed and reflected with this album in some form--at home, in the car, at shows where we raised the roof. Pittsburgh's still sleeping. It's all good. I wear the slept on steel like a suit of armor.
It's been a dark past few months.
Despite "I'm the Only One That's in My Way," I've felt the weight of feeling like I've accomplished nothing artistically. But I'm seeing some light finally. Is it the weather change? Possibly. Spring time tends to help. It could also be the music I've been listening to lately. Cypress, Mine! Amazing. @officialurns at @thegovernmentcenter over the weekend...incredible.
And now my friends @psychwardgrips are dropping an absolute gem of a punk record. They'll be busy sharing abomination the beautiful for as long as it takes to wake the sleepyheads, including at Something for Everyone @badluckduck.pgh on April 24th at @mr_roboto_project and again when we Smash the Canvaz together on May 7th at @remedypgh in Lawrenceville.
