Over the past months, they have lived and worked in Vancouver, deepening their practices through research, reflection, and collaboration. Their projects span sculpture, installation, performance, printmaking, and video—each exploring how art can open new ways of seeing public space.

It's a kind of magic to see a neighborhood anew, especially in the perfect afternoon October light. There are very few days like this in this rainy city. Thank you @atmosphericperspective and @christopherjoshuabenton and @van_biennale for bringing it together.
Some excellent city surfaces today on a meander of thinking, talking, and communing with surprise pine groves and willow branches, with @christopherjoshuabenton and @atmosphericperspective
They say the ADHD brain seeks out variety. In that light, the past 24 hours: running into @dainawarren installing a tipi in the sky at ECUAD, talking about Russian trade beads that look like fishing floats with @arejdalmohamed , leading through @ghizlaneagzenai 's inspiration books, and then seeing @martielcarlos stunning work on the @van_biennale billboard. A good Wednesday, despite my whining about the heat and the smoke.

@kevin.e.bertram wrangling the squirmiest Ava of all times, who has squirmed through two back to back evenings of art events with more socializing stamina than most adult humans I know.
What a week! Just 2 days ago in the early morning, we dropped Leo & Daniel @chiachiogiannone off at the airport — we paused at Bill Reid’s ever powerful Jade Canoe, where the seeds of the Biennale were first planted by @mowattbarrie and where we found more beautiful basket weaving to take it full circle. Felt right to mark the end of their residency where it all began.
