Amazing lineup of hoppy beers, great anecdotes covering two decades in beer from John and Steve, heaps of laughs, and a couple of winners in the raffle to raise funds for wineries impacted by the recent fires once we moved to the main bar.
Thanks to everyone who came along, to John and Steve for their generous hosting, and the legends at the @sporting.club.hotel for letting us use their private dining room.

SURE Brewing launched their first beers in 2022, but the people behind those beers have been playing key roles in the local scene far longer.
Members of our @craftycabal beer club are invited to join founder John Cope-Williams and brewer Steve Matthews at the Sporting Club Hotel in Brunswick for a guided tasting of five SURE beers – two of them straight off the canning line – as we chat about their careers in beer, fondness for pairing beer with music, and more besides.

Day 19 of the Carwyn Cellars #canvent and we bring you a Collab with our great mates @8wiredbrewing . Our TRUE NZ Lager turned up several notches into an Imperial New Zealand Pilsner filled with more NZ hops than Santa could fit on his sleigh.
Mariah even wrote a song about it for us. Which was nice of her.
