We’ve kicked off Day 1 of EMERGE @ FIND – Design Fair Asia! We’re so grateful to have welcomed many familiar faces and media friends to experience this year’s showcase.
Designed and built by @superstructuresg , this year’s exhibition set unveils each emerging endeavour like a story unfolding. Visitors are invited into a space where pieces are revealed gradually. This layout celebrates mystery and discovery, inviting you to experience contemporary design through a series of unfolding moments.
Join us over the next two days at @finddesignfairasia , Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre from 10am – 6pm. We look forward to seeing you there! 😁

#BeyondFenix, Stolen‘s latest art project with @formicasingapore and @superstructuresg

| Song Of The Liquid Dancing Dress |
One of the very few art projects that we did, that still exists in a form of a dress. In this case, making it into a dress seems to best express what I want to explore and breakthrough.
The conceptual dress is a collaboration between Formica and Stolen. Made entirely out of Formica’s FENIX material fused with fabric, Stolen’s design celebrates the spirit of innovation and the aesthetics of both strength and grace.
“I wanted to challenge the typical perception and use of FENIX by stretching this beautiful and strong material’s form and purpose. Looking beyond its rigid form, the design reimagines the material as having the qualities and movement of water, giving a semblance of what’s soft, delicate, and dynamic.” Elyn Wong, founder and director of Stolen, continues “I have always been fascinated by how transformative water is. Liquid, solid, gaseous - each has its own personality and strength.”
This dress takes seemingly conflicting materials, and from this unexpected combination, beauty emerges. The dress expresses this duality of strength and flexibility, and the transformative potential of even the most unyielding substances. Much like water itself, and much like FENIX.

ICYMI: We teamed up with @openstudio.sg and @superstructuresg to create something pretty special for ECA!
Designed to reduce event waste while giving rising brands the tools to shine, Slot Slot is a modular furniture system that combines function and playfulness. Inspired by the 1952 Eames ‘House of Cards,’ it uses birch-ply panels with CNC-cut notches that snap into place to create shelves, booths, and fixtures of all shapes and sizes—no screws needed.
Keep an eye out for Slot Slot as it makes a comeback in future editions of ECA—in new (new) ways!

As the system matures, we begin explore interesting connection details with confidence. Mixing different materials and terminations together, to create a holistic approach towards unconventional forms.
