After a series of events in collaboration with Tresor Berlin, Bassiani Tbilisi, Closer Milano, Burn Energy Tour & Mixmag, for the next Supersanity art event we are joined by the Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest & ROBOT Festival Bologna. What to expect? Techno, talks, live experimental concert, album listening session, set design, performances & conceptual theatre. Day 1–Educational–Panel talk Saturday 30 May–Barton Bucharest 18:00–19:30 Free entry, Limited capacity “Shifting frequencies: infrastructure, needs and futures of electronic music” Developed by the Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest, Supersanity and ROBOT Festival, in partnership with British Council Romania, and in collaboration with the Polish Institute and EUNIC Romania, the event creates a shared space for artists, curators, cultural producers and audiences to engage in an open dialogue; It reflects the increasing interaction between independent and institutional actors, driven by changing funding environments, evolving cultural practices and a shared interest in building more resilient and inclusive ecosystems. Day 2–Conceptual rave–Main event Sunday 31 May–Forge Bucharest 14:00–06:00 “Sanctum entanglement”, A multidisciplinary event bringing together conceptual theatre, performance, experimental fashion and live electronic music in a metaphysical format. 14:00–The event opens in the outdoor courtyard of Forge Bucharest as a Daytime Rave and community gathering with DJ sets by ADA KALEH, ALISTARM & CARMEN. 21:00–The public is invited inside the main hall for the premiere of ADA KALEH’s forthcoming album, titled "Sanctum entanglement", a literal and aural translation of a near death experience. An absurd metaphor for a reality governed by illusion. 22:30–Live concert by LORENZO SENNI (Warp Records) 23:30–DJ sets by KATATONIC SILENTIO (Ilian Tape, Delsin Records) & MICHAEL IUS (Techno Diatom)

Open Call for a new experimental edition of the Bucharest Community Rave. Spread the word and let's discover emerging talents from the local scene. The ones who actually have something to say, but somehow stay in the background. We are not looking for a DJ set, we're looking for those who have leaned the history, who understand the culture, who have done the 10.000 hours of work, and who have the vision to drive the music and arts sector forward.

DAY 1 programme of our Supersanity x Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest and ROBOT Festival Bologna is now available. Details about our main event on DAY 2: schedule, artists, rules & etiquette and tickets will be published on May 15th. Shifting Frequencies: Infrastructure, Needs and Futures of Electronic Music On 30 May, the Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest, Supersanity and Robot Festival Bologna, in partnership with the British Council Romania and in collaboration with the Polish Institute and EUNIC Romania, convene a public dialogue on the current state of electronic music across Romania and Europe. This conversation moves beyond familiar binaries: underground versus mainstream, independent versus institutional. It examines the infrastructures, economies and collaborative frameworks that sustain the scene. We ask: How is value created, shared and sustained over time? What are the actual needs of artists and practitioners? What futures are possible when independent platforms and cultural institutions build together? The panel brings together artists, curators, cultural producers and institutional representatives from across the continent. It reflects a broader shift in how cultural work happens. Independent and institutional actors increasingly shape each other, driven by changing funding environments and a shared commitment to building more resilient ecosystems. Panellists: Alina Tofan (plastic.mar) Catalina Graure (account_0511, Supersanity) Domenico Valenza (Vice-Director–Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest) Iulian Cuculea (Ada Kaleh, Supersanity) Lorenzo Senni (Warp Records) Marco Ligurgo (Robot Festival Bologna) Moderated by Cosima Opartan (Corp Platform) Followed by a performance from Ada Kaleh Free entry, limited capacity Saturday 30 May | 18:00–19:30 | BarTon Bucharest

Supersanity 2 years anniversary x Closer Milano - @closer_milano 07.02.2026 at @forge.bucharest This edition was conceived around the dramatic set design of account_0511, exploring how space transforms perception and defines the stage for both artistic performance and human interaction within the environment. The setting enabled Alina Tofan's durational performance Saturday's Self Construction, a live-in performance occupying the stage for the duration of the event. By contrast, the dancefloor featured rotating performances, some obvious, some hidden in plain sight.
