Eliot decided to make a kids’ science magazine! This thing is amazing. The first issue’s got illustrated articles about subjects ranging from atoms, the human body, and climate change, to American history. He’s selling it for $5 each, postage not included, and the last slide details his plans for the funds. 20 pages, 8.5 X 7, one color, riso printed by his dad. Link in bio will take you to the shop.

John Pham, Epoxy Comics and Zines✨
"I call myself publishing operation Epoxy Press. I’ve been making comics and illustration since 2000. I’ve been working in animation since 2010. I started using the Risograph since around 2012.
I love using Blue, Pumpkin, Flo Pink and Yellow. Recent favorites also include Aqua and Mint. I’ve always loved the aesthetic of limited palette printing, whether it’s screenprinting or prewar era Menko cards. I purchased a few collections of the manga Norakuro, published originally in the early 30’s, that was a huge influence on me. I think it was printed using 3 spot colors, red, blue and yellow. I based a lot of my color techniques on stuff from this era.
Be patient, experiment a lot, and focus on the content of your work, not just the techniques and aesthetics.
