Built using layered fabric, preserved, and Spanish moss to create a temporary art intervention within urban infrastructure.
Objects in motion.
Sound in mind.
Seen through the eyes of one of our exhibiting designers, @furnobject who brought their world to life on film for Disco + Design.
A room you could hear. A system you could feel.
For one week, during Miami Art Week ‘25, Disco + Design’s second iteration focused on sound and space becoming one conversation inside @beybey - specifically a hidden back room, what used to be a former gallery space. Disco + Design transformed furniture, music, and technology into a shared listening experience where design wasn’t just seen, but heard, and music wasn’t just played, but felt.
From 1970s nightclub culture to today’s listening rooms and dancefloors, the project traced the emotional and physical connection between sound, design of space and equipment, and the way we live. Legendary references met future-forward systems, intimate conversations met pristine listening, and every piece in the room played a role in the experience.
Featuring special guest speakers Mia Moretti, Soul Clap, Danny Daze, along with hi-fi experts, and furniture designers who’s pieces are contemporary interpretations of post modern 1970s influence that balances cutting edge with elegance. For our community this was a true meeting of minds around one idea: that the way we listen shapes the way we live.
A big special thanks to our hosting venue @beybey that values culture, culinary design and music at the highest form.

A little post-holiday reflection.
As we head into the new year (and after a much-needed reset), we wanted to look back at one of our favorite ongoing collaborations — designing holiday environments for Soho Beach House. We’re coming up on nearly a decade of working with this brand, and it never gets old. Each year we get to reinterpret the season through different colors, textures, and species, always staying true to the House while finding ways to keep it fresh.
We think of these installs as production design, not just décor — spaces meant to be walked through, photographed, and experienced by everyone, from families and first-time members to those who’ve been part of the House for years.
A world where sound, space, objects + culture collide. Music / HiFi / Design.

Designed by Sean Drake (@seandrake ) our identity uses bold forms + carved negative space to echo both disco typography + contemporary design systems. It bridges nostalgia + futurism with modern clarity that evolves each design season through a shifting color palette that reflects the cities + stories of Disco + Design.
Michelle Leshem, (@michlesh ) the creator of Disco + Design wanted a symbol that felt intentional, hence the “+” which reflected her vision of ‘addition + expansion’ ~ a symbol of connection, positivity + the evolving dialogue between design + music.
