Do you listen to Daft Punk's 'Discovery' and cry because you hear and feel every aspect of the human condition, too, or are you normal? π I celebrated the iconic LP's 25-year anniversary with a lofty essay in my newsletter. Read the whole thing at the link in my bio π Or just share your 'Discovery' stories with me here in the comments! π€
This is my favorite stupid thing I've ever made π The dream of the '90s is alive in my DaVinci Resolve lolol. Also, GO LISTEN TO MY PLAYLIST :D Link in my bio <3
π: In Heaven, everything is fine---and so it was at the inaugural @no__hay__banda this past Friday at Miami's The Ground and Floyd. It was a beautiful, surreal and strange experience, celebrating the life and work of David Lynch with performances from the director's collaborators and admirers alike. I wrote about it and shared some of my own thoughts on the subject in this week's newsletter. Thanks to everyone who made it special, and thank you always to David Lynch! Live footage of me scrolling this morning and losing patience with humanity. In 2026, I'm publicly shaming the ads on Instagram that are driving me FUCKING CRAZY. Do y'all have this experience?? Am I losing my grip alone or is this a collective thing?? Call me a boomer, but I am not okay! Oh, and happy new year π π€ͺ
In lieu of a carousel of happy pictures taken of me in different places around the world, I'm sharing big text blocks from my last newsletter of 2025. It wasn't the best year of my life, but it was one of the most important. I also had a lot of happy moments. I did travel, I did see Justice three times lol (and published my own DIY documentary about their tour on YouTube, which you can watch right now). I did see family and friends, but I'll remember the stuff that sucked when I look back, because the stuff that sucked taught me more.
I'm aiming for routine and consistency in 2026. I picked the word "Daring" to be my inspirational mantra, and what I dare to do will probably change with the passing months, but for now I'm just daring myself to share these confusing thoughts and also daring to be okay with not having all the answers yet--maybe never!
Happy NYE, y'all π₯ We *literally* did it
Another year, another smattering of year-end lists. Thank you @bainofyrexstnce and @billboarddance for bringing me on for another go around, singing the praises of my fave cuts in 2025. These aren't the only songs I wrote up, and I bet you're curious to see what other brilliant minds picked for the lists, so head on over to the links in my bio to read in full. Oh and duh, thanks to the artists who made great music this year and every year! See you on the dance floor (and the internet) in 2026!
π My latest newsletter is a personal essay on my Miami Art Week experience, or How I Learned to Stop Hating and Love Basel (Again) π Is it self-indulgent? (The writing, but also the whole week haha) Yes, but some people have said they can relate, so no regerts. π π¨ Read it at the link in my bio π
