'Enter the Glampong' serves as an immersive window into Geylang Crunk—a "Psyberpunk"
universe developed by METAMO Industries where Southeast Asian street culture meets the
future. Set in the year 2065 within the futuristic city of Neo-Santara, the game offers a new way
to explore street art by fully recreating Singapore’s Kampong Glam as a vibrant, mixed-reality
district. It seamlessly blurs the lines of reality by fusing physical art, AR, VR, and gaming into
one limitless digital canvas.
Real-World Artistry

Metamo Industries was commissioned to create a winter holiday themed animation to projection map onto the historic CHIJMES Singapore facade for a month long series of festive events and activities. Featuring a dazzling display of candy canes, snow covered landscapes, auroras, and transforming the building into a giant gingerbread house, visitors were treated to a winter wonderland spectacle to bring 2025 to a close.

In September 2025 we had the opportunity to return to the incredible R/V OceanXplorer for an unforgettable hackathon journey across the Indian ocean from Mayotte to Singapore. Continuing the work we began during the inaugural OceanX hackathon earlier in the year, we once again collaborated with ocean scientists and other leading artists, designers, and thinkers to help bring the important mission of learning about and preserving our oceans to the world.
We will be forever grateful for another chance to spend time amongst some of the brightest minds in their respective fields who became more than just friends and colleagues during the course of the 3 week voyage we spent together.

Built a custom comfy-ui workflow that takes street photography i shot around Geylang during cirtuit breaker period. My work flow randomly selects two photos and then create animation merging them into a new creation. I love the "roll of the dice" aspect of this work flow where you never know what the output will look like and am stunned by the quality of the light that creates a semi realistic look on top of the random movement. It's fun and fascinating to see what it manifests into existence. Took the clips into after effects to add very subtle camera moves before cutting to the music and interpolating the framerate to make it higher. It's an incredible tool and production process that creates movement and animation that I don't think I could do by hand. Currently working on the next version of the workflow to create even more psychedelic imagery.

For my piece in the “Algorithmic Prophecy” art installation shown at @weareflock.sg for Singapore Art Week I chose Golden Mile Complex as my subject matter, shown in its original black, yellow, and white glory. As guests move around “Algorithmic Prophecy” they will see Golden Mile Complex deconstructing into an array of glitched out artifacting before completely dissolving into a liquid state of matter, the true essence of the building lost to time and tangible only by those who were fortunate enough to have experienced it in its prime.
A lot of my artwork has focused on reinterpreting and reimaging Singapore’s architectural identity: extrapolating it into the future, while archiving it for future generations. There are a few truly world-class iconic pieces of architecture in the city that have played a role in shaping the artist and person I am today, none more so than The Golden Mile Complex. We have featured Golden Mile Complex throughout our artworks and digital recreations of Singapore in our “Geylang Crunk” universe, allowing us to digitally preserve the building and showcase it in ways that would be impossible otherwise. However not even an icon such as Golden Mile Complex is immune to the unstoppable march of progress in Singapore with GMC currently being transformed into some sort of new condo that will seemingly retain the rough outlines of the old building, but could not possibly retain the atmosphere, vibes, and memories of the original structure.

the second guests on @_hzqq_ ’s series with us are none other than O$P$ (Owe Money Pay Money), who have sharpened their signature live geylang crunk sound over years of experimentation. with various sounds & influences straight from the streets of gtown and rebuilt live by the duo @supercybertown & @zushanbenny - their performances are never ever the same, and that’s exactly the point isn’t it?
@geylangcrunk have been able to construct immersive experiences that tow the line between sound, space and narrative. their “psyberpunk” universe expands beyond just our local waters and has seen them grace some of the region’s most respected venues and onto releases with labels like so solid records & medium rare records
unconfined by club boundaries, O$P$ have also taken their sound into unexpected territories; libraries, art spaces, and chaotic street parties - bringing geylang crunk everywhere & anywhere and this time, we’re fortunate it’s our living room
