I used to think the work would speak for itself.
And to a point, it does.
But bills do not accept “potential” as payment.
So this is me showing up a bit more.
Not as a guru.
Not as someone pretending to have it all figured out.
Just as a creative business owner trying to be more visible in a climate that is making silence very expensive.
If you’re a creative feeling the pressure right now, you’re not the only one in this.
Comment “same” if you’re a creative feeling the cost of living creep into your work, your pricing, or your confidence.
I want to know how many of us are quietly trying to figure this out.

Dublin with Eli Brown for work, but this time I got to bring Meg with me and make a little more out of the in-between.
A lot of people see the shows, the travel, the content, the fast pace.
They do not always see the early starts, tired eyes, quick turnarounds, and trying to find small moments to actually enjoy it all.
Getting to tour, create, and share a city like Dublin with my favourite person made the whole trip.
Grateful for the chaos, the music, and her. 🖤✈️

As the days get longer, one of the best things I’ve learnt for my AuDHD brain is this:
start earlier
finish earlier
get some actual day back
Because balance is not always doing less.
Sometimes it’s making sure work doesn’t swallow the whole day.
For me, this shows up in really practical ways:
less noise in the morning
less pressure before the world fully wakes up
more daylight after work
more movement
more of me left by the end of the day
A lot of people think productivity is just about getting things done.
But for a lot of neurodivergent people, we’re also managing:
energy
sensory load
transitions
attention
and how much processing our brain has already done before the day is even over
That’s why one of my biggest tips for navigating a neurotypical world with AuDHD is to build the day around how your brain actually works best.
Not just around what looks normal to everyone else.
A few things that help me:
start earlier if your brain likes quieter hours
finish earlier if you need time to feel like a person again
stop underestimating the energy cost of “just work”
build something regulating into the day on purpose
pay attention to what season your brain thrives in
For me, longer, lighter days genuinely help.
More light.
More air.
More space to exist outside of work.
That’s the kind of balance my brain responds to.
Save this for later if you’re trying to build a routine that works with your brain, not against it.

Eli Brown at Drumsheds for Drumcode, London.
Big warehouse energy, heavy techno and a crowd locked in from start to finish.

Emello SS26 — Press Preview
Documenting an intimate, members-only preview for Emello, hosted at Nomad. A first look at Spring Summer 2026.
My approach was simple: observe the room, follow the details, and translate the atmosphere through stills and motion. The textures, the pauses, the moments in between.
Guests left with pieces from the Autumn Winter collection
and with that feeling you only get when something has been experienced early.
This carousel is a study of mood, craft, and restraint.
For fashion brands, designers, and PR teams looking for documentary-led visual storytelling, let’s create work that lives beyond the launch.

🌧️ | Rain Down
There was a dark rain cloud resting over the smallest patch of sky.
But today, the beauty wasn’t in the storm — it was in the drop.
Sitting still.
Warm air clinging to my skin.
A soft mist carried by the breeze.
The sound of a tropical shower that felt almost ceremonial — like something meant for those I’ve lost.
I miss you.
All of you.
And today showed me a quieter, deeper way to look at life.
Spending time with two very special people, trusted with the honour of capturing something truly beautiful — something I can’t share just yet 🖤
But know it mattered.
What’s most powerful is the pull.
Something keeps drawing me back to this island.
I met my Pops — my dad’s dad — alongside my auntie and great uncle. They return home tomorrow. And the only thing that feels right is to sit inside this unfamiliar but undeniable feeling of family… and unconditional love.
Please, enjoy your time with the people you love — while you still can.
My Pops is my last grandparent. Sharing this moment with him means more than I can explain.
Nana, I know you’re watching.
I know you’re proud.
Thank you for my first camera — because look… we really made it 🖤
The rain drops were you telling me that.
We homeeee 🤍

🖤🇰🇳🌴| FAMILY! A me say family
Some days feel less like plans and more like quiet reunions with your own history.
Today we met up with my cousin Wilfred at Da House — my mum’s dad’s place — a home layered with memory, responsibility, and care. Wilfred’s been helping bring it back into tip-top shape, restoring not just a building, but a piece of family continuity. Watching that kind of devotion reminds you that heritage isn’t abstract — it’s maintained, repaired, and lived in.
From there, we travelled to a place etched into my childhood memory: Camps. The last time I stood there, I was seven years old. Returning as an adult felt surreal — like stepping into a photograph that suddenly remembered me back.
The man at the centre of that visit turned 100 in August. We couldn’t make the celebration, but we made sure to stop by and say hello. Don’t let the years fool you — he was just as shocked to see me as I was to be standing there again. The last time he saw me, I was a child. Time passed… but somehow, recognition remained.
From there, it was family and friends — the kind of visits that don’t need documenting, only feeling.
Before parting ways with Wilfred, we headed downtown and ended the day at Shashamane Ital Bar — grounding ourselves with a drink, conversation, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you slow down without asking you to.
No agenda. No performance. Just a day stitched together by people, places, and memory.
Sometimes returning home isn’t loud.
It’s quiet.
And that’s how you know it’s real.

📸 | Grateful for opportunities like this — travelling, creating, and meeting people through what I love.
Had the chance to shoot with @ashleycmeverett , @kevakevs and @ianthasherii from the Ultra Troop just before the Sugar Mas 54 Grand Parade.
Moments like this remind me why I do this — shared energy, new connections, and creating something together in the middle of Carnival season.

🇰🇳 | Starting the year where it all began.
Coming back to the motherland of both sides of my grandparents and opening the year in the most colourful way possible — St. Kitts Sugar Mas Carnival.
The Grand Parade wasn’t just a celebration… it felt like a homecoming. Culture, soca, colour, history — all moving through the streets of Basseterre and through me. 🕺🏾🥁
