@super____sweet started pretty spontaneously after the good people at @moodringnyc trusted me with a night to curate during one of my stays in Brooklyn last year. I was incredibly lucky to have @love__higher , @simisola.system of @slick_down and @honeybbzz join me behind the decks ❤️‍🔥 I was so glad I finally got to witness them DJing live – all three of them deliverrreeeddt 😮‍💨 After a cozy @moodringnyc Happy Hour hangout in December I am now elated to finally host the first edition of @super____sweet in Berlin. CHINYERE is a sound producer and DJ based in Hamburg. Growing up between Igbo highlife on his father’s side and alternative rock and punk rock on his mother’s, his sound is shaped by a wide and contrasting musical spectrum. He has a big heart for gqom and uthayela, with a strong affinity for rough textures, heavy basslines and percussive intensity. In his sets, he blends these influences with Hard Drum, UK Garage, Global Bass, Footwork, Bubbling, Singeli, Drill and other subgenres.
