Someone told me my problem is that I do things and never talk about them, so in the spirit of being unproblematic, a recap of 2025: - my third book came out this June! - was on a lovely panel at San Diego Comic Con (thank you @mystgalaxybooks !) - the film my partner and I made continued to screen at film festivals, and we had a sold-out hometown screening (for which we made paper-mache aliens) - on that note my partner and I filmed a new movie across Europe (21 cities in 30 days!) - another lovely panel at New York Comic Con! At which I took no photos (so thank you @epicreads for capturing it!) - met a ton of lovely readers at Romantasy BookCon! This might’ve been my first time getting presents and notes from readers, and they were so sweet they made me cry - looking back at photos, I definitely had a favorite jacket this year - everything else I’ve done shall be lost to time, like tears in rain See you in the new year!

Book launch week! 🐍 had a rather revealing chat with @authoradalyngrace at @mystgalaxybooks , in which Neopets, Pokemon, and Sailor Moon were discussed 🗡️ signed some books (thank you to those who requested doodles, here’s one of Grimney) 💐 learnt my car’s cupholder holds a vase just fine 🍿 for those who don’t know, probably because I don’t mention it, I also make movies with my partner! Our music doc had a lovely screening at the big old famous Chinese Theatre in Hollywood 🎥 more importantly we watched O Brother, Where Art Thou? in a wee little theater and heard the best stories from the genius production designer behind it ✍️ did some writing on my spotless desk, which is different from my chaos desk 🎂 obtained sustenance with some favorite people 💖 that’s all folks

I could not wait a single second before posting this art I made of Saphira and the Serpent King from @sunyamara ‘s new book Embrace The Serpent💎🐍 If you don’t already have this book on your TBR list, RUN to add it. I enjoyed myself thoroughly from start to finish🥹❤️ I could not put it down!!! On a side note, I was experimenting with my line-art and wanted to return to minimal blending since a lot of the work I’ve been making recently has used a lot of it!
