So excited for this weekend’s show! We have a special guest mix from Los Angeles based producer @bapari_
Bapari is a musical force known for their heady dance tracks, cheekily disruptive pop edits, and hard-hitting DJ sets that blend techno, jungle, garage, club, hip-hop, and IDM in unexpected ways. Bapari pushes experimentation within electronic music to the edge, exploring all outcomes, from unique underground club tracks to evocative sonic landscapes.
Supporting mix from dotzips @sovblkpssy
6-8pm this Saturday!
Listen back to our guest mix from the young kooristylez king isayerrr archived on the @fbiradio website. Crunchy bass, breaks n juke 4 blowing out ur speakers. Internet era hardcore from one of Naarm’s new faves performing at @_absorb__ festival in March 🔈🔨
NEW LINEUP UPDATES!
A community fundraiser built by and for the scene.
DJs and crews are refusing slots on KKR-owned lineups in solidarity and we’re here to back them up, taking back the power from entities supporting genocide. We want a scene backed by moral compass. Music is political and always will be.
All profits split 50/50: half to the Strike Fund supporting those standing down, half to Mutual Aid supporting displaced Palestinian families.
Full transparency. Real accountability. And a loud F*** off to every entity profiting from exploitation and genocide. You will have no stage without us.
We will continue to listen to community, learn and take action. Thank you for holding us accountable. More on slide 3.
No Stage Without Us means nothing without representation of First Nations Artists.
Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.

This event takes place on unceded Gadigal land, and we pay our respects to elders past and present. Sovereignty never ceded, always was always will be Aboriginal land.
Listen to Sunset with Dot Zip every Saturday on FBi Radio from 6-8pm AEST ~ 94.5FM or streaming online.
After 11 years, this Saturday will be the last for Spin The Bottle.
But Ry and Johnny are not leaving! We’re moving to Saturday Sunset from June 3, with new co-hosts soon to join too. With a new era we thought it was time to stop the bottle spinning.
Thank you to all the co-hosts that have been with us along the way, starting with Avani Dias and Fearghal Shannon in 2012, then followed by Andy Garvey and then Lauren Hansom – all of whom have gone on to do incredible things post-STB.
Thank you to each and every guest who has contributed to the show over the years. Artists such as Honey Dijon, Tim Sweeney, Jennifer Loveless, False Witness, DJ Plead, Kuya Neil, Salllvage, DAWS, Lithe, Sepsaay, Bisoux, and so many more in the full archive you can listen to on our SoundCloud page: /spinthebottlefbi. Through these mixes we’ve tried to document the messy diversity of club/dance music across this city and so called australia: looking at where it is now, where it came from and where it’s going.
Finally, thank you if you’ve ever listened in, texted us, sent music, or engaged with the show – it means the world to the people who host this silly little music show.
