Time to reclaim my power so I can better help to reclaim our power. I prefer to be in service to the earth and her people, and not the tech oligarchs and their data fetish. This is the first step. Hope to see you out there where the warm sun shines. Peace y'all ✌🏼#idprefernotto

so grateful for all the planters, growers, and land loving freaks who are obsessed with their craft through which sunshine is converted into pure earthly magic. even MORE grateful to experience alignment like this and be so proximate to this magic (this opportunity came in between the birth days of my sweet Ember and @azukea ), to fuel my own practice of Loving this earth and all creatures herein. #salix #salvation #salivating #secretstash #shhhhhh

intrinsically inseparably interconnected, there's so much going on hear, past present and future constantly swirling in this Dance of Life. thousands of decisions per minute directing the path. Words do so little. It's feeling, intuition, nuance. Stop, slow down, follow the signs...if I didn't climb trees 'for a living' how would I spend my time on this earth. This was a good reminder about process...each step intentional, deliberate, aiming for a goal, and remaining safe and not smashing a window or making a costly mistake. I am at the helm, nobody coming to save me, so just Breathe, re-Mind I where that breath came from and how much it is connected to. That tree was just a seed, as was I. One day I will meet that tree again. In the mean(ing)time, make meaning. #donotenter

Divert! Your attention from a bunch of the distractions that are meant to waste your precious time, and INVEST in the Good Earth Agenda!! Composting has been my gateway drug. I've done it dozens of fuuuunky ways over the last decade. Decomposition is actual magic. We have landed on this one system here that we love. Wood chips are the vital carbon base, and we have plenty to share. DM me for the perpetual pile's location and you can be on your way to a life well lived on the Good Earth Agenda!

I came across this beautiful Honey Locust on 119th Street that is a perfect example of a healthy, sturdy, and resilient street tree. As an arborist for @moretreescoop I can't help but provide my informed opinion. This is an example of how majestic the Congress + Ferry corridor will look in just a few years if @troycityhall is able (but willing?) to carefully and thoughtfully work around the existing trees to maintain the contiguous canopy that is a unique and extremely valuable (because it has taken decades to achieve) feature of downtown Troy. You can see the old root surgery wounds, presumably from past sidewalk work, that have healed just fine. @capitalstreetsny has articulated many details and is making sensible recommendations for what plan would be best to follow for the most quality outcome for this corridor, and it is not 'Alternative 1A'. Troy has a rich history of innovation that must be honored for all future citizens to be proud of major decisions made in the past. #streettrees #treepreservation #urbanforestry #treecare

The only, absolutely number one downfall to living where we live is the awful street noise that can happen any time, day or night. Accelerating cars, crashing cars, horns, revving engines, vulgar vocabulary of voices, profanity, all kinds of loud music...if you can think of it, we have heard it, my children know all about it. It's one of the reasons we have an insane amount of plants acting as a beautiful buffer to this constant noise. And @troycityhall has the audacity to fine us $50 bucks for a so-called violation????!!! Come walk the sidewalk that always remains totally passable, and I will name every single plant in our garden. This is the time of year where things are gonna grow and they should be appreciated, not demonized. These are not grass or weeds, and I refuse to pay more than taxes and all the goodwill we put into our neighborhood over the last decade. #usecommonsense #plantsgonnagrow #cantstopwontstop

PLANT SWAP!!! tomorrow at Collard City Growers @mediasanctuary 12-2, easily one of my favorite days of the year where we get excited about botanical abundance. Always a joy to see what people bring and get jazzed about acquiring. Hope to see you there!
