I had the honor of serving as a jury member at the 2nd International IŞIK Ceramic Competition held in Izmir, Türkiye, and spent four days there. Thanks to the thoughtful hospitality of the organizers, I was able to stay comfortably throughout my visit. It was also a truly meaningful time, as I had the opportunity to meet inspiring people and build valuable new connections.

주최 측의 세심한 환대 덕분에 머무는 동안 매우 편안하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 또한 훌륭한 분들을 만나고 의미 있는 인연을 쌓을 수 있었던 매우 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.
I have had several people who attended my talk @icfaberystwyth asking about the beautiful words written by @latouchette1 in her review of the International Figurative ceramics symposium that took place @icshungary last year – and here they are, only short accounts, but each containing intricate, rich and explorative thoughts - and spoken by Lori-Ann herself!
Together with artist @paoloporelli , Lori-Ann is the co-founder of @cretarome and we were exceptionally lucky to have had her insight as part of our group, and for her to write such an enriching account of each of our practices!

I have been invited by the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Poland. I will be offering a workshop and lecture on my work there, as well as holding an exhibition in the city center of Wrocław. 🙂

Because of my Turkish visa, my passport is now at the Turkish embassy, so unfortunately, I couldn't attend the awards ceremony in Spain. 😢
