Split at 60 Meters (196 feet)
@deepdivedubai
We call it tech freediving. This dive felt so relaxed compared to Florida shipwreck dives, where we face strong currents and have to descend quickly to avoid missing the wrecks. Those fast drops can make you super narcād, and carrying four bottles doesnāt help.
At
@deepdivedubai , weāre diving in perfect conditions. We get an easy, slow descent with smooth Trimixāzero narcosis! Using a freediving line allows for a controlled, effortless drop, which is ideal when I model. I donāt gear up to extend bottom time and reduce deco. Huge thanks to
@220bar for assisting and feeding me Trimix.
ā¼ļø Do not attempt to replicate this without proper tech diving training. As an open-water instructor and Trimix-trained tech diver, I always stay within safe limits to make every dive as relaxing and safe as possible.

6: Hover on decoāneutral buoyancy on a full inhale is everything to me. As you can see, I can even close my eyes and hover neutrally without floating up or down. If I add a dress, it changes. If I dive in salty water, it changes.
7:
@jesperkjoller and me cleared our deco. I use my hands because I need one more pound. Thatās why we do a pre-shoot dive.
8: My first dive to the bottom of Deep Dive Dubai - buoyancy check. May 2024ānow Iāve gone 5 or 6 times, Iāve lost count! š«£
9: Jesper and me pre-dive picture. Iām smiling because weāre doing a 60-meter dive!
