Nettle season: blink and you miss it.
Liberty duck-filled pasta with first of the season morels, green garlic, nettles and peas. Finished with duck consomé.
The @sfchronicle_food team just released their annual list of Top 100 Restaurants and we’re super grateful to have been included among many of our friends and peers for whom we have tremendous admiration. Thank you @mackenzie_fegan and @fukufoodz for all your work covering and celebrating Bay Area hospitality.

I photographed Alan and Sara in their restaurant/studio last September for @artculinairemagazine .
@sun_moon_studio_ is a tiny gem in West Oakland. Earthy tones and warm neutrals, fresh-cut florals on each table, pops of burnt orange, bamboo branches, shells in the windows, pulling together the earth and the sea.
The food is exquisite - well deserved recognition for their incredible work!
