Louisiana born and bred artist James Marks has arrived from Shreveport for his Summertime residency and we couldn’t be happier!
James is a sculptor whose materials include wire, pipe cleaners, found metal, chance, and generosity. Sometimes known affectionately as Wire Man, he hides his wire friends for others to stumble upon and sometimes take home.
Thus far, important activities include eating a salt bagel with strawberry cream cheese and finding the perfect container (cereal Tupperware) for his pipe cleaners. Tomorrow, we Mudlark…
