The shiniest star in the sky, Dean Millien in his rightful place — MoMA PS1!!!!!!! Congratulations @deanmillien , we love you! Greater New York show open to the public starting tomorrow, get yourself there!!! @momaps1
Today I invited @jody_graf and @krittenbach to my studio. I brought them up to the roof and showed them a process I developed. The sun oxidizes the surface of aluminum, creating a patina the color and texture of the skin of an elephant. For the past few months, I've been collecting aluminum pans, trays, lids with the help of street recyclers. I now have enough of the material to make a life sized elephant.
