Tuesday 26th November 7.30pm
The Cut, Halesworth, IP19 8BY
We Collective comprises artists from diverse countries, united by a commitment to addressing critical sociopolitical issues. The project explores topics such as gender oppression, environmental justice, immigration, and racism. Central to all their work is the theme of community, justice, and the strength of collective roots. This evening’s presentation is the first edition video project honoring November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
This project is a profound reflection on the violence, constraints, and violations hidden behind the seemingly benevolent narratives of “fragility” and “protection”—narratives that imprison both women and the environment. This project will be displayed in several countries, including Italy, Brazil, Germany, Canada, and the UK, and had been shown in Greece. The videos will be projected globally as a statement of union, resistance, and hope for a future where justice and equality prevail.
Running Time: 1 hr approx, entry is free.
