The second wave of musical acts to perform at Fire in the Mountains 2026 includes progressive post metal pioneers BARONESS, atmospheric Black Metal band THE RUINS OF BEVERAST, heavy metal powerhouse SUMERLANDS, Diné composer and sound artist RAVEN CHACON, Denver progressive genre-defiers DREADNOUGHT and Fargo death metal legion, PHOBOPHILIC.
The STACKED lineup includes the recent headliner reunion announcement of ‘Denver Sound’ legends 16 Horsepower, plus ENSLAVED, BORKNAGAR, YOB, GALLOWBRAID, SIGH, WAYFARER, MIDWIFE, TARANTELLA, GALVANIST, and NOCTURNE.
The entire lineup is curated with intention and features performances that can only be experienced in the landscapes of Red Eagle Campground against the majesty of the mountains!

Today marks a year without our Brad G Raub even though every day feels like a year. He was the glue in this band and I think also the star. Rest In Power bro until we meet again.
We miss our brother Brad every day and wanted to throw him a proper send-off party. Phil Swanson will be joining Sumerlands to play some s/t album songs. War Hungry’s first PA show in almost a decade. When this legend passed on many of you asked what you could do. Today we will play the biggest show in our existence as EC and Sumerlands, a bittersweet occasion as you can imagine. We will carry on without Brad but it is unfathomable to think about filling his shoes so soon, so this weekend @hellfestopenair we will be playing with his recorded bass tracks behind us, so he will be with us in spirit and in sound once more.
We want to thank everyone for reaching out with thoughtful comments and stories involving Brad, we always knew he was the face of our bands but now we truly know just how well-loved he was. A man of the people, he was always willing to lend an ear or hang out with the fans at our shows and it’s apparent now that there are a thousand examples of his kindness and honest personality.
As always we look forward to seeing yall on the field, this one’s for Brad.
We are devastated to report that yesterday our brother, our bassist, our best friend, Brad Raub has passed on. He was 36 years young.
Brad was well read, fucking hilarious, a true sweetheart, a great listener, a deadly sharp bassist, a legendary napper, and a man who loved his family and friends til his last moment.
A true example of a person whom to know was to love, and his friendship, mirth, his kindness and a thousand other qualities will be missed beyond what words can convey. Nothing can repair the void left in our lives right now but we are accepting love and good vibes. If you smoke then smoke one for our man, if you drink then drink one for our man. We love you Bad Brad. See you on the other side.
