Fire in the Mountains is thrilled to reveal the 2026 official artwork created by our in-house artist/designer
@gershgoroth !
We are not only excited about how it turned out, we are proud to have collaborated with our team,
@firekeeperalliance , and tribal leaders of the Blackfeet community to bring our shared vision to life.
Adam shared the following statement about the artwork and the vibe of 2026 —
“I’ve been designing for Fire in the Mountains for 10 years, and during that time I’ve watched the festival grow through pure persistence and passion. Building something like this, deep in the mountains, takes a lot of grit, and I wanted the 2026 artwork to reflect that energy.
In 2025, the bear came up over and over through stories, visions, and encounters, and was ultimately chosen as the spirit to carry Fire in the Mountains into 2026 — representing power, resilience, nurturing, and coexistence with nature.
Gold, representing Fire in the Mountains, and blue, representing the Pikuni Blackfeet, were chosen as the primary colors for this year’s artwork to honor the alliance between these two groups.
The Blackfeet teepees were added to the skyline because their striking presence was unforgettable. The teepees stood on either side of the stage with the mountains behind them, lit by the setting sun, and framed by FITM flags waving in the wind. Something truly special was taking place.
I look forward to hearing what stories we bring back from the fire this year - see you in the mountains.”
