Just getting through my photos from our trip. Had the pleasure of dining The Harbor House Inn for a couple dinners. This was a really special place - a few dishes changed from Dinner 1 to Dimmer 2 but I would have been overjoyed even if we had eaten the exact same courses.

Detroit pizza has been on the rage lately, and with good reason. How could you argue against a piece of pizza with a butter-encrusted edges coated with melted cheese? 🤤
Buddy’s Pizza is now a mini chain, but the OG location arguably started it all.

Gonna start dropping older photos onto IG. Starting with Kitcho Arashiyama with @sammonourani which was the first true kaiseki meal I ever experienced with Japan, and definitely off with a bang! Among the best meals I’ve ever had.
Some of the best pickles I’ve ever had, that tofu with uni with decadent, the first time I tried that fruit jelly, and thick, rich mango liquor at the end, and even the wars I mochi was tops.
The price was dear (especially at 80 yen per dollar 🤪) but the experience made it worth it.
