Truly grateful to be able to tick Keukenhof off my bucket list 🌷✅ I usually hate crowds but there was a certain joy from seeing so many happy people admiring beautiful flowers. This is a must for tulip lovers but the real gem was cycling through the fields and finding a quiet spot. So happy to fulfill my childhood dream and adult me was very happy that I chose a hotel with the comfiest bed 😆

📣 A lastminute.com workshop that has been brewing for a while! To make LNY extra special this year, Andrea and I have decided to organise a wholesome get together to make poured candles, incense cones and hand balms. This is an extension to the frequently sold out candle making workshop that we have been delivering in Liverpool Chinatown. Thank you Culture Liverpool for continuing to commission us for the LNY celebrations in the city 🎊 No experience required and pros are welcome to join! The £35 per person charge cover materials as well as festive drinks and snacks to fuel the making 🍵🥟 We have 10x spaces avaiable so please DM me if you would like to make a booking.

Moving torwards the Year of the Fire Horse with a trip to fulfill my teenage dream of visiting Superkilen in Copenhagen, designed by Superflex. The rest of the trip was spent visiting more installations, getting inspirations for future work and as always, continued my adult journey of learning to rest. The photos in this carousel are 🎞️ 1. Superkilen black square 2. Superkilen chess tables 3. Superkilen BBQ pits 4. Sky Mechanics by Wayne Siegel at the Black Diamond, overlooking Olafur Eliasson’s Circle Bridge 5. Noma Project 6. Noma’s wild rose kombucha (brand identity designed by David Shrigley) 7. The hall of chairs at Designmuseum Danmark 8. Poul Henningsen lights display at Designmuseum Danmark 9. Hand towels made using upcycled tshirts at Designmuseum Danmark 10. Alicja Kwade’s Pars Pro Toto at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art 11. Furnitures designed by Finn Juhl, in his house as part of Ordrupgaard Museum 12. Went for the cardamon bun at Juno’s and fell in love with the vanilla spandauer 13. A calm bedroom with a similar aesthetic to mine but without all of my clutter I hope to experience the city during the warmer weather on my next visit 💖

I got my phone out to take a cool selfie and my fingers instinctively clicked the shutter upon seeing my hilarious reflection 🤳🏻🫨🪞 This will always remind me of making people who witnessed my reaction to my reflection laugh 💖

Sufea Mohamad Noor (@sufeamono ) is an artist, curator and fundraiser from Liverpool, who is interested in social history, understanding materials and learning skills to make. Her work is about making connections with people and materials. She uses recycled and repurposed materials and explores the relationship they have with past owners. Sufea’s ‘squishies I made for my cats’ series was made using material recycled from old Tate Gallery uniforms, where she’s previously worked. The name was influenced by her cats, who enjoyed playing with the small sculptures as she was making them. The small, soft sculptures are featured in our current exhibition ‘Just Browsing’, where you are invited to touch and hold the soft sculptures and play with them as her cats did, stack them into towers, or create patterns from them. Exhibition open Tue-Sun, 11am-5pm. Free entry. Just Browsing is supported by @liverpoolbidcompany and @homotopiafest .

JUST BROWSING: Sufea Mohamad Noor 🌵🪡🍽️ Sufea Mohamad Noor (@sufeamono ) is an artist, curator and fundraiser from Liverpool, who is interested in social history, understanding materials and learning skills to make. Her practice uses words, textiles and food to tell untold stories, explore personal memories and bring people together. Mohamad Noor started her Resource Room in 2020 and has been making work entirely using materials deconstructed from reclaimed objects, as a pledge to reduce her carbon footprint by avoiding the use of new materials. As part of our upcoming exhibition, Just Browsing, she will present small scale sculptures designed to be held in your hand. Just Browsing Sat 25 Oct - Sun 8 Feb Just Browsing is supported by @liverpoolbidcompany and @homotopiafest .
