ABANG — an immersive projection inspired by the Unakoti site in Tripura, where thousands of rock carvings are believed to have formed when Shiva turned a sleeping entourage of gods into stone. a few friends of mine sculpted a physical interpretation of the site, I translated that form into a digital point-cloud visual that breaks apart, rotates, and reforms, reflecting how myths fragment and reconstruct through oral retellings. ALSO… the mediapipe interaction was just a failed network converted to a perfectly timed loop .
Cover art for @lapganlapgan 's "Lapgan Is Ecstatic"—a fresh reimagination of Mos Def’s classic- The ecstatic.
The full collection this Friday, December 5 on Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and YouTube.
10 Minutes Away
A graphic narrative + campaign for my sem end proj at nid.
The project explores how grocery delivery and instant convenience are slowly changing the experience of going to markets. Not really about vegetables, but about the small rituals around them; choosing goods, walking through mandis, bargaining, waiting, carrying bags home with family and how those memories quietly fade when everything becomes instant.
The project combined a graphic narrative with a public campaign imagined through hoardings, posters, kiosks, and public interventions.
Not anti-commerce propaganda trust. Just a reflection on the experiences we stopped making time for... also shoutout my rusty drawing skills 🥑🥭🍅🫒
